    Prepare to Apply

    Start by filling out our thoughtful online application. We want to understand your lifestyle, preferences, and what you’re hoping for in a dog—from energy level and temperament to household dynamics. This helps us get to know you, so we can make the best match possible.

    Attend a Meet + Greet

    Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with one (or more!) dogs that match your home and heart. These casual, connection-first meetings give you time to see personalities in action and ask questions in a relaxed setting—no pressure, just puppy love.

    Welcome Home Trial

    Not quite ready to commit? No problem. Our optional short-term trial (usually 1–2 weeks) gives you space to get to know your pup in real life. It’s the perfect way to see how they fit into your routine, household, and heart before making anything official.

We take time to understand your lifestyle, preferences, and environment so we can match you with a dog that truly fits your life.   • We prioritize adopters in Southern California so we can provide support and facilitate in-person meet-and-greets, but we’re open to out-of-area adoptions on a case-by-case basis—especially when the match is just too good to pass up.

  • Your adoption includes a fully vetted dog (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped), access to our resource library, ongoing support from our team, and a lifetime place in the Minoli family. We’re here for the journey, not just the hand-off.
