Prepare to Apply

Start by filling out our thoughtful online application. We want to understand your lifestyle, preferences, and what you’re hoping for in a dog—from energy level and temperament to household dynamics. This helps us get to know you, so we can make the best match possible.
Attend a Meet + Greet

Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with one (or more!) dogs that match your home and heart. These casual, connection-first meetings give you time to see personalities in action and ask questions in a relaxed setting—no pressure, just puppy love.
Welcome Home Trial

Not quite ready to commit? No problem. Our optional short-term trial (usually 1–2 weeks) gives you space to get to know your pup in real life. It’s the perfect way to see how they fit into your routine, household, and heart before making anything official.
Seal the Adoption

When it feels right, we finalize the adoption with joy, a celebration, and plenty of tail wags. You'll receive a full support package from us—including resources, guidance, and a lifetime place in the Minoli family. Because adoption is just the beginning of something beautiful.

We prioritize adopters in Southern California so we can provide support and facilitate in-person meet-and-greets, but we’re open to out-of-area adoptions on a case-by-case basis—especially when the match is just too good to pass up.
